What does 6:3:1 mean?

6:3:1 is a ratio of theory of human memory I heard in Japan. A psychologist in Japan found out that human memory must consist on 6:3:1 ratio. 6 being happy memories, 3 being sad ones and 1 being neither interesting nor boring. Apparently our brain keep this ratio to keep us sane.
So even if bad things happen to us, it's our nature to forget and bring happy memories!
