Shadow puppets with Richard Bradshaw

We've been learning shadow puppetry with the most wonderful and the delightful Richard Bradshaw at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre.
I feel so fortunate to be able to learn from him and listen to him talk and watch him perform!
It's been so incredible - so much more than I can say in words.

Puppetry training at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre

I've been doing an intensive training program at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in Fremantle,Western Australia. I have no background in performing arts or anything of this sort at all but have always had a dream of creating characters for puppet shows or working with shadow puppets with my paper-cut works. 

It's so difficult but I'm thoroughly enjoying every minute of this incredible program.

Next week, we'll have Richard Bradshaw, the master of shadow puppetry, to teach us his art!
