Words for missing type - exhibition

Damon Kowarsky and I are excited to be part of the exhibition 足りない活字のためのことば - Words for missing type in Japan from 1 October.

Using limited types found at a printer in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, 12 poets were asked to create poems. 6 printmakers made images to accompany some of these poems.

Exhibition runs from 1 October - 2 November.

There will be a reading session and talk by the poets and printmakers on 12 October at the gallery.
Information is on the website but currently only in Japanese so if you need more information, please contact me.
I can get in touch with the curator.
